Our spidey sense perked this morning while perusing The Facebooks, as a new East Nashville page for “The Humdrum” popped up. Moons ago there was a band/artist collective called Humdrum around here, and we wondered if perhaps it might be reigniting.
Not so much: Looks more like we’re about to get us a new live venue/restaurant, located at 2412 Gallatin Ave.
The folks behind The Humdrum are a pretty mum on details at the moment, but they have uploaded a 73-photo gallery of the space pre-renovation, and it offers a peek into what threatens to be a pretty awesome hang.
High ceilings, a balcony, an actual green room — East Nashville’s about to get real-deal.
We reached out to the responsible parties to see if we might get to share a little more about our new neighbor. Meantime, give a look at The Humdrum on Facebook, and get excited.
